What can I use to help weigh my artificial plants down?
Query by Fish Lover: What can I use to aid weigh my artificial plants down?
I want to know what I can use to weigh my vegetation down and exactly where can I buy the product. I have appeared at petco, walmart, meijer and have not identified anything at all. I have a really deep tank and it is difficult to get in there and bury the plants after they get loose.

You could use the bottome of a watter bottle to make an anchor. you go one/4 inch up from the bottome of the bottle reduce it out. then poke an hole in the middle of the bottom. and attach the plant, now you have a bowl to put your gravel/sand in, performs wonderful and is totally safe for your tank.

no flat rocks. I prepare to glue (with silicone) the synthetic crops to the flat object to weigh it down. It has to be concealed by 1/2 inch of sand. I assumed of using coins, but they are negative for aquariums. Any ideas?
