How will acrylic painted fabric affect fish if put in their water?

Question by : How will acrylic painted fabric affect fish if put in their water?
I would like to spruce up my fish tank…the latest plan is to create something similar to artificial flowers but paint them into the blue/white color scheme I would like my fish tank to have…

I would be using Acrylic paint… and I was wondering if anyone knows how that would affect water. Will it leak any chemicals into water… if so any idea what chemicals? I think that as long as i treat the water after the fabric is in it it should be fine… does anyone know for sure?
PS. The fish I have are all fairly hardy fish…

I would try to steer clear of paints unless you can find some that are aquarium safe, I am not sure of any but if you google something might pop up. I would also watch what fabric you use, some fabric might end up just disintergating in your tank.
